Bing Thom was a world renowned Canadian architect who died unexpectedly one year ago. His international projects included the Xiqu Centre in Hong Kong, the Woodridge Library and the Arena Stage in Washington DC, and the Francis & Rose Yuen Centre for the University of Chicago in Hong Kong. Locally his projects include the Chan Centre for Performing Arts at UBC, the Surrey City Centre Library, Central City/SFU, the Guilford Aquatic Centre, and the Burrard & Nelson project in Vancouver. Photos, prints, and models of these, and other masterpieces, are on stunning display, in custom made and printed lightboxes manufactured by Multigraphics, in the lobby of the Fairmont Pacific Rim as part of the Fight For Beauty exhibition.
