JOB SUMMARY

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Printer Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of digital printing presses and performing quality control checks on printed materials.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate digital printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
  • Monitor the print quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent results
  • Load, set up, and unload media and ink
  • Keep detailed records of production and maintenance activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe area around the printing machine
  • Assist with the finishing of graphics such as lamination, cutting, masking, weeding, and mounting of graphics

POSITION SUMMARY:

Multigraphics is currently seeking talented graphic designers that specializes in any of the three disciplines below:

  • Graphics for large format printing

The ideal candidate is a highly creative, resourceful and visionary individual who can create and manage the design process from start to finish. You will be responsible for several tasks including designing and developing various marketing collateral for printing; such as office environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, and architectural finishes.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Depending on your expertise and the project, the position will include a combination of the following responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare customer (architects, contractors and designers) drawings into vector artwork using relevant software (AI, PS, etc.) with the specifications of the printing capabilities of Multigraphics
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

Ideally you are currently employed selling sign / graphics / event packages to local, regional and national accounts in the Vancouver market This could include illuminated signage (channel letters, pylons, and fascia signs), way-finding signage for large projects, large format digital printed products (Fleet wraps, retail graphics, interior graphics, etc.) or event signage / graphics.

Experience working with architects, developers, contractors, interior designers and retailers will be a benefit.  

You are currently selling 1.2 million – 2.0 million per year.

  • Create detailed project plans and budgets that include material lists, labour costs, equipment expenses, and project timelines.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for a tech-savvy purchaser with a keen eye for detail to buy various goods for our company. The purchaser’s duties will include conducting market research, building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts, inspecting deliveries, and keeping track of the inventory. You should have stellar communication skills and a high degree of cultural sensitivity to fill this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality, and logistical expenses.
  • Assess vendors and their offerings with either in-person visits or over-the-phone negotiations.
  • Work closely with internal departments and help fulfill their material requests.
  • Prepare purchase orders (PO) by verifying the specifications and price of the requested order.
  • Coordinate with sellers and courier companies to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
  • Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping.
  • Monitor inventory and perform cost analysis at the end of each month.
  • Other ad hoc tasks related to the role.

REQUIREMENTS:

Having past experience in the sign and graphics industry is a bonus, but not a must. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who is driven, willing to learn and go beyond the minimum requirement. If you possess the following soft skills, you’d be a great fit for our team:
